As we wrap up another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank our incredible students for showing up each day with positive, Yeti Ready attitudes! From Math Counts and BPA to NJHS, National History Day, Hope Squad, Yeti Squad, and so many other activities, you’ve made us all proud. A huge thank you to our amazing teachers for their support and dedication every step of the way. It’s been an unforgettable year! We wish our 8th graders a bright and exciting future ahead, and we can’t wait to welcome our 7th graders back in the fall. Have an amazing summer, everyone!

My name is Karlee Fielding and I am so excited to be starting my teaching journey at Praxium as the Eighth Grade ELA teacher! I recently graduated with my degree in education and cannot wait to bring my love of learning to Praxium this fall! I love to be outside, hiking, paddle boarding, and am learning to rock climb, but I also love curling up with a good book on a rainy day. I am recently married and love to try new things with my very adventurous husband! I look forward to meeting you all and am thrilled to be teaching at such an incredible school this fall!

We're quickly approaching the end of the school year! Thursday, May 29th will be our final day of school, and it will follow the same schedule and structure as an Intervention Monday.

Teachers will notify students who are required to attend on that day. However, if your student does not receive a notice but would still like to come, they are more than welcome to join.

Please note: School will dismiss early at 11:45 AM.

SummerClasses

Is your student wanting to work ahead by taking classes over the summer? Every student has an Advanced Opportunities account with $4,625 to help pay for high school and college level classes. There are two options for taking classes over the summer.

Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) is an online provider accredited by the state. Credits earned through IDLA are accepted at all Idaho public schools. The cost for each IDLA class is $40. If it is a high school level class, Advanced Opportunities funding may be used. If it is a middle school class, you must pay the school. Please see IDLA Summer Options and see Mrs. Colson to complete registration.
Bonneville Online High School (BOHS) is also an option to earn credits over the summer. Each BOHS class will be $225. Advanced Opportunities funding may be used. Registration for BOHS summer classes will be available by May 9th. Once registration is available, you can go to this link BOHS Summer Classes. In the middle of the page you will see the link for summer registration.

Only one credit over the summer is recommended. Please remember that all grades earned over the summer WILL be on your child's transcript. This will include HIGH School transcripts if high school courses were taken. If you have further questions, please see Mrs. Colson. Thank you!
